⚠️ Rogue Trader Alert – Local Area

Today a member of the community was visited by a group of men claiming they had “leftover tarmac” and offering to do some work. No price was agreed beforehand. After completing the work, they demanded a large amount of money and became very aggressive when challenged. They followed and shouted at the victim, and their behaviour caused a lot of distress.

They have said they will be returning later in the week.

Please be aware that rogue traders may be operating in the area.

✅ Do not let anyone start work without a written quote
✅ Report any sightings or suspicious activity to 101
✅ If you feel threatened or unsafe, call 999
